Are you insured and bonded?

Yes — absolutely. Moppin' Mama's is fully insured and bonded. Our general liability insurance protects your home and belongings. You can let us in with complete confidence. All team members also pass comprehensive background checks before joining our crew.
What areas do you serve?

We proudly serve the greater lake region and surrounding communities in Northern Michigan, including lake houses, residential neighborhoods, Airbnb properties, and commercial spaces. Not sure if we cover your area? Send us a message and we'll let you know right away.
Do I need to be home during the cleaning?

Not at all! Many of our clients prefer to be out during their clean. You can provide us with a key, lockbox code, or door code at booking. We'll send you a confirmation when we arrive and a completion summary when we're done. Your home and your privacy are always respected.
Do you offer recurring cleaning plans?

Yes! We offer weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly recurring plans. Our VIP Membership starting at $149/month gives you priority scheduling, a dedicated cleaner who learns your home, and 10% off all additional services. No contracts — cancel or pause anytime.

How is pricing determined?

Pricing is based on the type of service, size of the property, and frequency of cleaning. We provide transparent quotes with no hidden fees. Standard residential cleans start at $95, lake house packages from $195, and our Baby Shower Package is $285. Contact us for a custom quote — we're happy to walk you through options.
What's included in a deep clean vs. a standard clean?

A standard clean covers all main living areas — dusting, vacuuming, mopping, kitchen surfaces, bathrooms, and general tidying.

A deep clean goes further: inside appliances, baseboards, window sills, cabinet fronts, grout scrubbing, light fixtures, vents, and behind furniture. We recommend a deep clean for first-time clients or seasonal refreshes.

Do you clean Airbnb and vacation rental properties?

Yes — this is one of our specialties! We offer same-day and next-day turnaround cleans for short-term rental hosts. We handle linen changes, restocking amenities, trash removal, and full property prep so your guests always walk into a 5-star experience. Many of our Airbnb clients are Superhosts — and they say our cleans are part of the reason why.
What does the Lake House Retreat package include?

Our Lake House Retreat package is designed for waterfront properties and includes: full interior deep clean, deck and outdoor area detailing, window and sliding door polishing, dock area tidying, seasonal open and close cleans, and post-guest turnovers. Starting at $195 per visit.

Yes! We clean boutique offices, retail shops, studios, and professional spaces. We schedule around your business hours — early mornings, evenings, or weekends — so your team always arrives to a pristine environment. Request a commercial quote and we'll customize a plan for your space.
